Bass drums often have a bit too much sustain and little punch. This two-ply (2x 10 mil) bass drumhead allows for a much more focused attack, while the two included damping rings help reduce sustain. Placing and removing these two rings is child's play, and each of the two rings allows for a different level of dampening. It's a great alternative to stuffing your bass drum shell with clothing and blankets. This product is best suited for loud genres such as metal and hard rock.
